Have you ever thought about the prospect of hiring a young person, but unsure if they have what you are looking for?
Have you ever invested in an employee only to find they’re not the perfect fit for your business?
The Youth Jobs PaTH initiative allows you to trial a young person in a role within your business before you hire them!
Your business can trial a young jobseeker aged between 17 – 24 years for 4 – 12 weeks (up to 25 hours per week) before you make any employment decisions.
As a BONUS…
- You, the Host Business, will receive a $1,000 payment to help with the trial costs on commencement.
- The young jobseeker will receive $200 a fortnight on top of their usual income support payment
- Insurances are covered for the entire trial period.
- If the trial is successful and you decide to hire the young jobseeker, you may be eligible for a wage subsidy of up to $10,000!
Mai-Wel LabourForce Solutions can set up the entire PaTH program for you and we will find a suitable candidate for that role.
